My client is a leading bank looking for a Data Analyst specialising within Finance. The ideal candidate will need to have a background within business analytics, project management and reconciliation building enhancements. This role will be responsible for the management of various applications and providing support to the group.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and investigate any opportunity for systems improvements and or streamlining processes
• Prepare in data gathering for the business and assist in business analysis planning
• Understand required enhancements, re-engineering processes and testing
• Provision of finance operations and management of applications used by the business
• Development and migration of reconciliations, mainly around payroll
• Identify risks and or strategies through variance analysis and recommend actions to management
• Partner across the business and collaborate to implement changes

Profile:

• CPA/CA/CIMA Qualification is preferred
• Experience with Alteryx, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Hyperion or Tableau
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (macros/VBA) and SQL is preferred
• Must have strong background in process improvements
• Previous experience liaising with key stakeholders with the ability to influence
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Analytical and detail oriented
• Inquisitive with a can-do attitude
• High attention to detail
