Sage MicrOpay is a leading Australian provider in developing and supplying payroll and people management software solutions. At Sage Recruitment, we specialise in providing experienced Payroll, HR and Accounting staff to our clients.
  
We are seeking a Payroll Manager for our client located at Belrose.

This role is on a permanent full time basis and to commence asap, with duties to include;

• End to end processing of monthly payroll
• On-going maintenance of payroll system
• Updating and maintaining payroll records
• Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
• Undertaking required reporting, both internal and statutory reporting
• Payroll administration – eg. Setting up new starters
• Calculation and payment of termination payments
• Processing salary increases and calculation of back pays
• Month & Year End consolidation
• Reconciliation and payment of payroll and group tax
• Reconciling payroll related GL accounts
• Calculating Bonus accruals
• Monthly Sales comparison to budget for measuring Sales Team’s performance
• HR Director assistant- reporting, salary review & bonus letters, Life/TPD & salary continuance insurances etc.

The successful candidate will posses;

• Comprehensive and working knowledge of Sage Micropay
• Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Numerical ability and data entry skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Understanding of payroll legislation and processes ie. tax, payroll tax, superannuation
• Ability to interpret awards and relevant legislation
• Customer service focus
