About the Company
This boutique Property Management company manages almost $500 million worth of assets in the commercial and retail space.
With assets throughout Australia, their portfolio provides investors with a low risk, high return option.
Having experienced year on year growth and with a solid pipelines of investments, they are now seeking an experienced Trust Accountant to join the team.
About the Role
Based within the finance team, this position reports into the Operations Manager. As this is a small to medium sized company, the culture is friendly and hardworking yet relaxed. You will work closely with the business owners and so will have a hands on role in business operations.
The owners are passionate about property and are looking for the same from their Trust Accountant. This position purely looks after multi-tenanted commercial and retail properties and so this experience is essential.
The role itself includes the following duties:
- Reviewing of leases to ensure tenants are charged correctly
- Generate rental invoices
- Tracking and organising the payment of rental arrears
- Monthly reporting to management, property managers, owners and tenants
- Review and mangagement of maintenance budgets and spend
- Lease and contract advise
About You
As this is a senior role, the following experience is required:
- Experience in usingProgenesis is essential
- Prior experience as a Trust Accountant in a retail and / or commercial setting
- A strong customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in reviewing and advising on commercial leases
