About the opportunity

In this role, you will join a high performing team and business partner with local and global stakeholders to provide management of cost performance for AsPac Procurement.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Provide monthly cost performance and provide insights for decision making
  • Establish appropriate tools to monitor and identify cost opportunities
  • Assurance around the loading and reconciliation of all plan and forecast data to be utilised within the standardised cost reports
  • Assurance on cost categorisation and alignment of costs across all business units
  • Monthly cost to plan and forecast analysis by cost category
  • Develop a monthly reporting pack and attend the Monthly cost review meetings with AsPac Procurement Director
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with key staff to help drive issue resolution

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated financial accounting experience and the ability to partner with stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes

Other key attributes will include:

  • Highly developed analytical skills with an inquisitive approach that allows you to get to the root cause of discrepancies and commercial drivers
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on partnering with stakeholders across our business.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills and confidence with accounting systems
  • Commercial awareness of the business
  • Experience in corporate operational and financial functionality and processes
  • CA or CPA qualified (or working towards) with degree level qualifications in a related discipline.
