Role Overview
Reporting to the Supply Controller, the Commercial Analyst will be responsible for partnering with all aspects of the Supply Chain - including supply chain losses management, inventory management and embellishment. On a day to day basis, you will be the key contact in providing insight to the supply areas through effective communication and assisting stakeholders with decision making and business cases.
The Commercial Analyst will have enormous progression potential within the business both within Australia as well as abroad. With a culture of fostering talent, the business ensures that talented employees are trained both laterally across the business as well as supporting promotions wherever possible.
Responsibilities
• Influence key business decisions through your insights
• Reporting on monthly results to relevant stakeholders
• Month end journals
• Provide analysis on cost reduction opportunities
• Inventory reconciliation
• Inventory level analysis versus budget/forecast and the impact on working capital
• Develop systems around embellishment
Candidate Profile
You are degree qualified with some experience in a commercial environment in an Analyst capacity. Your prior experience with commercial analysis means that you feel comfortable and confident interacting with operations teams. Your personality is energetic and strong and you have robust influencing skills. This role would suit a high performer that is seeking to enter a tier 1 organisation with excellent training and development as well as career progression opportunities.
