CLIENT DESCRIPTION
Our client is a multinational who provide specialist services to heavy industries & infrastructure space all over the world. They have an expanding presence in Australia and have posted strong results and growth over the last 5 years. Due to this expansion they are looking to add an Experienced Financial Accountant on a temp to perm basis to assist the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Regional Controller, you will be required to help drive the Accounting team in a number of areas. This includes month end duties such Balance Sheet and P&L preparation for a number of entities in the business. You will also assist with all tax compliance (FBT, GST, Corporate), as well local reporting and regulation requirements. As the Senior Financial Accountant you will also help mentor the transactional team and assist with the audit, process & systems change projects.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Available on short notice, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work autonomously, and possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The company provides a great culture and work environment & is looking for someone to add to that dynamic.

REQUIREMENTS
You will be CA/CPA Qualified with intermediate to advanced Excel. You will have 5+ years experience in a Financial Accounting role. This is a US listed business and knowledge of US GAAP & SOX is a must.
