The Firm: 

This is a national award winning mid-tier firm located in new, modern offices in the heart of Canberra. The firm has a strong focus on developing and nurturing junior staff teaching them both technical and soft skills.

Their client base ranges from ASX listed companies, large private clients, to SME’s and Government bodies covering a wide range of industries.

The Role:

Working closely with experienced Partners, you will be given the opportunity to progress quickly and work on large and complex jobs.

Some of your duties will include:

• Assist the Management team with planning of the audit process 
• Be the point of contact for the Firm on site with clients
• Completing field work and analysing financial information 
• Conducting relevant research to understand clients business and risk areas
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports

The Person:

In order to be successful in the role, you should have the following:

• 1+ years’ experience in Audit in Australia
• Enrolled or Part Qualified in the CA/CPA
• Completed Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting or equivalent from an Australian University
• Strong problem solving skills and a high attention to detail 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
