About the role
This newly formed role will be focused on supporting Estia’s Development and Property Services team by providing a range of financial services.
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the capital expenditure and fixed asset register process and will assist with the creation and implementation of new processes and strategies to ensure to manage the company’s capital expenditure approval processes and ensure accurate maintenance of the fixed asset register.
This is a unique role in an expending area of the business, where the successful candidate will work closely with a range of non-financial business partners, enjoy delivering commercial results, implementing process improvements and driving positive change.
About you
You’ll bring to the role your energy and your passionate nature and you will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ finance experience
- CA/CPA qualified (or part qualified)
- Previous experience in Fixed Asset Management
- Exceptional communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems
- A strong work ethic and demonstrated time management skills
- Proficiency with computers, and advanced excel skills
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety and a commitment to keeping yourself and others safe and well
- The right to work in Australia
