About The Firm
This well-established practice is part of a national association. The firm consists of 5 Partners and 40 staff across 2 offices. They offer services across accounting, tax, audit and financial planning. The current partners are aged between 40 and 58 and are very aware they need to look to the future and hire staff who want to stay in the industry long term.
Your Role
As a Business Services Supervisor working in the firm's business services team, you will be responsible for all areas of compliance and business advisory for your portfolio of clients. These clients come from a range of industries and will require a broad range of advice.
Your Skills
The partners are not looking for another accountant who is happy to sit in the corner and do compliance work. They specifically require an individual who has the drive and ambition to become a partner in due course. You are a well presented confident individual who is keen to get out and about, meet clients and start the process of learning how to business develop.The partners envisage that you are probably at a larger practice where your progression is blocked by long term managers who will never be partners.This is a great role and genuine opportunity to join a firm that is looking to create another partner.
