Are you an Accountant who would like to join a dynamic and energetic team? This organisation is ONLY looking for the right fit with the rest of the office and are flexible when it comes to the experience you have previously!
As a massive player in the Property Development and Design industry, this organisation is focusing on large projects where the focus is the latest design and gorgeous apartment blocks in Sydney and also Nationally.
As their Accountant you will play an important and key role during the growth of the business and you will be responsible for preparation and maintenance of the company’s financial information that supports the decision making.
The Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely budgets, financial analysis as required, and provide assistance to the Finance Team, along with the Financial Controller
- Undertake cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, as well as General Ledger reconciliation
- Assist in the creation, management and consolidation of end of year reporting packs, financial statements and half year reports, and group month end reporting
- Ensure data integrity whilst entering and maintaining the group’s reporting framework including assisting with the consolidation of Group results
- Monthly reporting, P&L reporting and Balance Sheet
- Maintain sound reporting models and databases as required to deliver sound financial management
- Utilise forecast templates for use across the group, and for consolidated divisional forecast/budgets
- Undertake data entry and account reconciliation
The Successful Applicant:
- A minimum of 3 years’ Accounting Experience
- An Accounting degree is essential for this role
- Your attitude, energy and positive mindset is extremely important, to fit in with the team
- Previous experience in the Property industry is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literate within Microsoft Office packages
