We are currently seeking a Risk Strategy & Capability Manager within our National Risk Management team in Sydney. Our strategy is critical to ensuring that the function is well positioned to support the needs of our Business in this dynamic and growing environment.

This role will be instrumental in developing and driving the implementation of the Risk Management and Office of General Counsel (OGC) team’s strategy, and reporting on its progress to leadership on a regular basis 

Your new role

The key elements for this role will include:

• Developing and driving the implementation of the strategy and agenda of Risk Management and OGC
• Managing reporting to track regular progress against strategic priorities
• Supporting Risk & OGC leadership with the implementation of the firm-wide People initiatives
• Coordinating Learning & Development activities for the Risk Management team
• Managing the improvement and execution of activities for the Risk & OGC Engagement Plan (e.g communication, forums, corporate citizenship initiatives)

You bring to the role
If you are commercially mature, articulate, resilient and capable of building strong stakeholder relationships, this is a fantastic opportunity for you. You will also have:

• Strong project management skills
• Practical experience in financial management of a function including preparation of budgets
• Experience working in a complex multi-dimensional corporate environment
• Working knowledge of Risk Management practices would be ideal but not essential
• Excellent communication skills, including written skills
• Demonstrated attention-to-detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
