Located in the Inner South Eastern Suburbs and within close proximity to public transport, our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation with diversified interests across construction, property, hospitality and aged care. A highly respected and well regarded organisation, they have an enviable portfolio of completed projects and a strong pipeline of future works underway. Having enjoyed a period of strong growth, they are currently looking to take on a motivated Junior Accountant for their Construction division. 
  
The Role 
  
Reporting directly to a Senior Accountant and working closely with a well credentialed Financial Controller, you will be an integral member of a high performing finance team. Your key duties will include but will not be limited to: 
  
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet and various dashboards 
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and yearly budgeting and forecasting 
- Assist with all statutory compliance obligations 
- Preparation of key business metrics analysis 
- Assist with the operational projects 
- Management of cashflow including processing of some accounts payable and receivable
- Identify opportunities for process improvements 
- Ad hoc duties as required 

  
The Candidate
  
With a relevant bachelors degree, the successful candidate will be working towards being a registered CPA or CA. You may be currently working in professional services and looking to transition into an industry based role, alternatively you could already be working as an Junior Accountant in industry, looking for a new challenge and career advancement. Advanced Excel skills and exposure to other large ERP systems will be looked upon favourably. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will thrive in a team environment and provide a positive contribution to the office culture. You will be capable of building strong working relationships, both internally and externally.
