We currently have a maternity leave fixed term contract opportunity (12 to 13 months depending on commencement) available for an experienced HR Reporting Analyst to join our Remuneration and Benefits Team to enable the business to deliver on its core people strategies. Preference will be for a commencement date around mid-August 2018 to ensure adequate hand-over and training before the current incumbent commences maternity leave.

Seen as the subject matter expert across all HR related people metrics, you will provide high quality and informative people reporting, accurate analysis and commentary on HR performance. Key responsibilities in this role will include;

  • Data extraction for end of period and ad hoc reporting
  • Provide periodic reporting for regulatory bodies and the wider Wesfarmers people strategies as required
  • Complete accurate analysis and commentary on HR performance
  • Develop and design better ways to present, capture and report on HR metrics.
  • Maintain an understanding of Kmart’s people strategy and review and recommend new reporting requirements as needed.

To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally have a background in HR reporting and possess the following skills and experience;

  • Strong numerical, problem solving, reporting and analytical skills with advanced capability in Excel
  • Significant experience working with HR information systems, ideally SAP Payroll and MicroStrategy
  • Possess an analytical mind with the ability to problem solve, identify trends and proactively address opportunities and potential issues
  • Demonstrate a natural ability and professionalism to work with various stakeholders, including senior management, across a multi layered organisation
  • Experienced in providing reporting and analysis solutions that enables stakeholders to make informed decisions through use of the data, reporting and analytics
  • An ability to work autonomously and unsupervised as well as contribute to a team environment
  • Comfortable in managing concurrent projects/deadlines combined with a passion for HR Analytics
