Based in Inner North West, this reputable boutique accountancy practice delivers comprehensive accounting, tax and business advisory services across a wide range of industry sectors.

For an immediate start, the role is offered on a full-time basis. Salary is negotiable. 

Responsibilities will include, assisting in:

• preparation of income tax returns from client interviews and correspondence
• review notices of assessment and other ATO correspondence
• liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients
• prepare and analyse financial statements
• assist with growing the client base

The successful candidate will have:

• tertiary qualifications in accountancy
• ideally CPA/CA/IPA qualification or equivalent
• knowledge of Australian income tax law
• experience in a similar role in a small/medium size accountancy firm (Australian public practice) is preferable.  A sound knowledge in MYOB Tax, Accountants Office, XERO, Microsoft Excel and Word
• sound analytical skills and excellent communication skills
• highly energetic, driven, focused and thrive on the excitement a small business can offer.
• You will be a self motivator, have a can do attitude with strong attention to detail and excellent client communication and service skills.
• must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
