Our Client, a small regulatory Federal Government Department, is seeking an experienced Assistant Systems Accountant- FinanceOne, for a contract opportunity of 12-18 months, located in Canberra City.
To be considered for this Assistant Systems Accountant -FinanceOne contract, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience with TechnologyOne (FinanceOne);
- Substantial progress towards a professional accreditation (CPA, Chartered Accountant);
- Experience in managing staff in a customer service driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to undertake a technical role as a FMIS accountant/administrator preferably with experience of the TechnologyOne systems.
- Ability to assist in projects which enhance the functionality of TechnologyOne (FinanceOne) to further support business processes.
The primary duties of the Assistant Systems Accountant- FinanceOne will include but not be limited to:
- Provide specialist support for the TechnologyOne- FinanceOne System to support strategic and operational goals.
- Perform system administration functions within TechnologyOne (Finance One);
- Assist in month/year-end and management reporting in line with the Finance team;
- Assist the broader Finance team to deliver high quality and compliant corporate services;
- Ensure that the system is functioning correctly on a daily basis and undertake regular system administration activities;
- Co-ordinate system integration between various IT systems and assist with planning and implementation of improvements, patching, and upgrades.
