Our client is an ASX LISTED, financial services company with a strong track record of performance. This position has become available through some recent internal promotions creating the need for an experienced financial analyst to join their team.
About the role
They are seeking a switched on Financial Analyst who has extensive experience with business stakeholder engagement, P&L management, business unit activity analysis as well as EOM reporting, forecasting and target setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Senior Management to meet the management reporting requirements for the group.
- Partner with and build strong relationships with senior business and finance stakeholders to ensure that key initiatives remain in line with regulatory requirements and stay on track.
- Maintain and update forecast models to accurately represent the businesses.
- Ensure that the integrity of monthly financial and management accounting processes is maintained
- Head the orchestration of monthly management reports in line with ASX and company reporting standards.
- Provide Ad-hoc analysis on the financial performance of the business.
- Supervise and provide assistance to junior team members.
About you
The ideal candidate must have strong experience with not only analytical and problem solving roles but also with managing and fostering relationships with business stakeholders, clients and team members.
In addition to this you will have:
- CA or CPA qualification or equivalent
- Microsoft suite, Advanced Excel and modelling knowledge
- Capability to manipulate and pull large data into insightful reporting
- Experience with financial services industry would be desirable
