The Company
Our client, a multinational and instantly recognisable company within the Retail Industry, are currently looking for a hardworking, quick-thinking and down to earth Accounts Payable Officer to join their high performing finance team on a full-time basis. Due to the company’s continually expanding client base, the company is looking for a professional and experienced individual that can adapt quickly and hit the ground running. The company’s cool and modern offices are conveniently located in Melbourne’s inner suburbs, the role offers a competitive salary, supportive team and an enviable work environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Officer will include:
- Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of suppliers.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- High volume amount of paying vendors and processing of invoices, petty cash reimbursements and employee reimbursements
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintaining historical records
- Excellent time management
Your Profile
You will be an accomplished Accounts Payable professional ready to hit the ground running. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a confident, professional attitude to your work is key in succeeding in this role. Your friendly and positive attitude would be beneficial in this team environment.
Ideally, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable experience and experience within the Retail industry will be advantageous.
