The Firm

This firm is located in one of Brisbane's inner western suburbs. Clients range from SMEs through to HNW individuals and it also advises larger sized businesses with turnovers up to approximately $30 million. 

The firm is modern and up to date and, for many years, has operated a paperless system.  It also promotes a social and inclusive culture where the partners are always available to answer queries and receptive to continual improvement. 

  
The Role

In this position, you will:

• manage a portfolio of HNW and SME clients and manage the workflow of a small team of accountants - approx. 80% of your work will comprise the review of tax compliance work prepared by them; and
• engage with your clients and provide business advisory services including structuring, tax planning, estate/succession planning, and performance analysis - 20% of the role.

  
 In order to be suitable, you will ideally need to:

• be CA/CPA qualified
• have strong technical skills with a minimum of 7 years' public practice experience in business services & tax
• have experience in supervising and mentoring staff, and reviewing work
• be confident in your ability to advise clients on a range of accounting/business advisory matters, and build relationships with them
