Due to continued growth, this highly reputable, ASX listed technology business is seeking a highly competent Senior Financial Accountant. Reporting to the GM Finance, this diverse role will see you working in a growing and high performing team, essentially as the 2iC to the GM Finance.
  
As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be primarily responsible for:
  

• Control and management of monthly reporting of consolidated accounts from Australia, USA, Asia and Europe.
• Reviewing, overseeing and preparing the full month end and continuous accounting process for Australian operations
• Reviewing, overseeing and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including the investigation & resolution of reconciling items
• Reporting and analysis on budget vs actuals
• Manage 2 Financial Accountants
• Liaising with overseas accountants at month end and managing the communication of month end information for them to process
• Identifying and driving areas for automation and process improvement within Finance
• Preparing and producing spreadsheet templates, documents and reports
• Liaising with external auditors and external tax accountants
• Support the Finance function with additional ad-hoc tasks

To be successful in this role you must have completed your CA/CPA Qualifications, and come from a strong Financial Accounting background. Excellent communication skills are imperative in being successful in this role. 

You will be a higher performer and must also have the ability to work independently, but thrive working in a team environment and have the ability to take on new tasks.

Strong experience with ASX Reporting requirements (4D & 4E appendix), experience in the Technology industry and people management (small team) is essential.  Only candidates with this knowledge will be considered.
