An excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to develop their skills in a growing and high performing finance team. Whilst the successful candidate will join a high performing team, there will be the potential for a contract extension.
Client Details
My client is one of the most established organisations in it's space. Whilst the organisation's department is growing, they will require the assistance at this level. Whilst it is a large finance team, there could be opportunity
Description
The roles and responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant will include but not be limited to:
- Review of P&L reports for accuracy of coding in cost centres and general ledger codes
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Financial reports
- Financial acquittal reports for external organisation
- Good knowledge of excel
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Assisting with ad-hoc duties as requested
- Liaise with internal off-site stakeholders
- Journals
Profile
- The Assistant Accountant will have prior industry experience in a similar organisation in the Higher Education space or a complex organisation. The successful candidate's communication ability will be pivotal for securing this role.
- Relevant university degree
- CA/CPA preferred but isn't essential
- Strong with Excel
- Exposure to finance and on finance personnel
- SAP Exposure
