ZM Partners are a well established firm conveniently located within the Sydney CBD. There are currently 2 Partners and 12 staff with plans for growth. We are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Qualified Tax Accountant for immediate start.
We are looking for an Accountant, ideally:
Reporting directly to the Partners, you will be responsible for client servicing and assisting in solving complex tax issues along with the following:
- Preparation of Income Tax Returns
- Preparation of Financial Accounts for Companies, Trusts and High Net Worth Individuals
- Preparation of BAS/IAS and ensuring client lodgement and compliance
- Prepartion of Budget Forcasts for clients along with Management Reports
- Training/Overseeing Junior Staff
- Liaising with ATO and other government orgainsations as necessary i.e OSR
- CPA qualifications, Business Services, Tax Accounting experience and some Audit experience would be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years within an Australian public practice firm, references required
- An ability to "think outside the square" and to develop innovative solutions and problems.
- Experience with accounting software such as MYOB AE, MYOB Bookkeeping Products, Xero, Banklink, Class Super.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, good knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Fluent English spoken & written skills.
- A friendly, social personality.
- Remuneration determined based on experience i.e. market rate.
