A leading FMCG Company is seeking a confident and experienced Credit Controller/ Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their busy finance team. 

You will be solely responsible for the management and collections of the debtors portfolio, maximising cash flow, minimising delinquencies and developing sound customer and stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities include but not be limited to: 

• Active day to day management and control of Debtors Ledger (approx $1 - $2M per month)
• Contacting Debtors for payment of accounts overdue in line with their Trading Terms.
• Ensure Debtor Days are within KPI targets.
• Daily processing of Banking and Bank Reconciliations. 
• Meeting Month End Timelines as per month end schedule. 
• Review "Credit Hold" report daily and follow up as necessary.
• Weekly reports sent to management and notify management of any high risk debtors.
• Processing ad hoc Credits and Invoices as required.
• Attending to all Debtor inquiries relating to the customer account.
• Creating New Accounts and ensuring all records updated and efficiently filed.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years corporate collections experience, have strong systems skills, be numerate & high attention to detail. You will also have an excellent phone manner, be results motivated, tenacious and a real team player.
