THE COMPANY

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, the Payroll Manager will directly manage a large team of Payroll Officers to ensure a high standard of data integrity for the purposes of reporting and data analysis including:
- Set and monitor performance and development objectives for staff through annual performance and development plans
- Interpret Industrial Agreements such as awards, certified agreements, contracts of employment etc.
- Prepare, balance and reconcile PAYE tax and assist the finance team to reconcile FBT, Superannuation and Payment Summaries
- Coordinate and facilitate the workflow and provision of a wide range of payroll services (including Salary Packaging)
- Support end of month and end of year finance reconciliation processes

IDEAL APPLICANTS
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Payroll Manager position within a large complex organisation (2000+ employees)
- Experience in an environment with multiple complex Awards/Agreements
- Knowledge of financial and audit requirements (specifically in their application to payroll)
