THE COMPANY
Melbourne based HR Services organisation.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to, and with full back up form, the Financial Controller the Payroll Officer will manage an outsourced payroll of around 200 salaried employees including:
- Setting up new starters/Master file updates
- Processing employee leave and expense reimbursements
- Termination/Redundancy calculations
- Bonus payment processing
- Investigate, analyse and respond to all HR/Payroll queries.
- Undertaking Superannuation, PAYG and Payroll Tax calculations, terminations and payments
- Reconciliation of payroll tax and superannuation monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Running of end of year financial processes
POSITIVES
The payroll is outsourced so your role is purely managing all the internal information and reconciling what the vendor presents post pay cycles.
CHALLENGES
Whilst the payroll is mostly salaried employees, there is volume (in terms of new starts/terminations) and some complexity around the commission payments.
IDEAL APPLICANTS
You will have a solid experience with Australian payroll and all the legislative/statutory requirements. Applicants with previous exposure to both in-house and outsourced payroll work environments are especially encouraged to apply.
