About Our Client
Our client is an established boutique accounting practice with offices in Hoppers Crossing and Brisbane.  The company currently holds Tax Agent, ASIC Agent, SMSF Auditor and AFS limited licences, and are a Xero silver partner.  Due to continued business success they are seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Accountant to their Hoppers Crossing team to help drive ongoing business growth.  

Location
Our client is located in Hoppers Crossing, just 25km's from Melbourne's CBD. Nestled between Melbourne and the regional city of Geelong, this thriving outer south-western suburb location provides the flexibility of a short commute from bustling Melbourne, or the ability to enjoy the more relaxed pace of suburban or regional living.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified and experienced taxation and accounting specialist (at least 3-5 years experience)  
• Proven experience providing advice in relation to tax compliance, payroll, book keeping, superannuation obligations and exposure to Self Managed Superannuation Funds, ASIC related work and track record of maintaining good client relationships
• Xero software expertise 
• Ability to complete business financial statements
• Capable of managing staff (previous experience not essential) 
• Willing to travel locally (full driver license) to meet clients and occasionally travel interstate
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
• Self motivated with a strong work ethic
