Fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and detail oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join an innovative commercial manufacturing company located in Macquarie Park. This is a senior role seeking an analytical individual with leadership qualities to oversee the financial reporting process.

Our client is a global manufacturing giant specialising in providing manufacturing equipment and industrial solutions. With ongoing expansion and growth in consumer demand and market share, they are actively looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join the team.
Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Prepare statutory financial reports to senior finance stakeholders and the Board to assist with consolidation processes
- Manage intercompany transactions and fixed registers
- Act as the key point of contact to external and internal auditors
- Prepare, supervise and review the delivery of month-end balance sheet reconciliations and year-end group consolidated packs for the annual report
- Perform ongoing investigation and analyses of accounting transactions to ensure that information is correct and properly accounted for
- Manage and prepare the general ledger and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Contribute financial information and analysis towards budgeting, planning and decision making processes
- Manage the inventory/manufacturing cost accounting process
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Full CA/CPA qualification, essential
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience with SAP, or similar ERP programs
- Extensive experience in statutory reporting
- Experience dealing with external tax consultants and auditors
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
