This is a critical senior finance business partnering role in this well regarded ASX Listed Financial Services market leader.

Work closely with the business and the board.

Supporting the Head of Finance, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completion of the financial management results and presenting to the Board of Directors
• Completion of financial reforecasts for the ANZ business
• Co-ordination of the budget and planning process for the ANZ business
• Determine and monitor sales activity across all key financial business drivers 
• Deliver a challenging and robust Annual Operating Plan for Australia 
• Completion of the annual expense budget for the ANZ business and determine efficiencies
• Work with the business from a finance perspective regarding new transactions/business initiatives or projects
• Proactively drive business outcomes to achieve plan objectives
• Provide input into strategies to grow margins and fee income
• Thorough analysis and interrogation of financial information 
• Write commentary on their impact to the financial performance of the group
• Review and challenge the financial performance
• Liaison with international counterparts to ensure all deadlines and requirements are understood and met
• Ongoing improvement and streamlining of systems, processes, procedures and reports
• Manage a team of 4
• Ad hoc project work

Essential Criteria:

• Banking./ Financial Services experience is essential in this role
• CPA or CA qualifications
• 4-5 years managerial experience as a minimum
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong project and people management skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
• Collaborative work style
