The Company:

To support the current growth and success of our organisation, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer for a permanent role to join our leading professional services organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate - the role will grow and develop as we look to review systems, improve efficiencies, automations and processes to position our business for further expansion.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Account reconciliations
• Allocating and receipting of payments
• Setting up new accounts and invoicing
• Daily collection calls
• Following up on outstanding debt
• Providing high level of customer support
• Handling telephone account queries – internal / external
• Reconciling debtor accounts
• Other tasks as required and assigned by your Manager

About You:

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience in an end-to-end Accounts Receivable Officer position
• Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong reconciliation, negotiation and debt collection skills
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
