About our Client
Our Client are a dynamic state government department. 
Working as part of a Divisional Finance Team you will be responsible for the monthly management accounting functions.  You will provide budget advice and management to a range of business units within this complex organisation

About the Role

• You will  provide budget variance reporting
• Assist in the annual budget process
• Responsible for budget management and reporting of business units
• Meet with and provide budget advice to business unit managers
• Create strong, positive relationships 
• Promote corporate finance's reputation within the organisation
• Assist with budget reporting from a consolidated perspective 
• Improve Management Reporting 
• Consult with the Executive Director
• Drive improvements

As the successful candidate, you will

• Demonstrate experience as a Management Accountant 
• Possess advanced reporting capabilities
• Demonstrate strengths in the budgeting process 
• Be proactive, driven and be able to provide strong references 
• Most importantly have exceptional people skills
