Your new company
A well established 5+ partner firm based in Eastern Melbourne require an experienced senior accountant to join their team. This firm have an excellent reputation and are known for the first class service they deliver to their HNW client base.
Your new role
Working closely with the partners, you will be hands on from day one, running your own client portfolio and will be mentoring, assisting and training junior members of the team.
You will also be responsible for:
- The preparation of income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and superannuation fund, including preparation of any required taxation return schedules.
- Liaison on behalf of clients with the Australian Taxation Office in relation to their taxation return lodgement obligations, tax payment issue and other issues as required
- Preparation and lodgement of activity statements for businesses and investors as required meeting their GST, PAYG Withholding, PAYG Installment obligations.
- Providing sounds advice to clients on their accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be CA/CPA qualified and already working within a high qaulity Australian firm. You will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal and someone who strives to deliver excellent service to their clients.
