The Company
Robert Half is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a reputable organisation on a 6 month temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a well-respected company who can thrive in a busy and challenging environment. The role is based in a great location in the Inner Suburbs, with close access to public transport. It is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to add to their skill set or someone on a Working Holiday Visa.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager this role requires someone with a strong Accounting background. The duties will involve:
- Preparing financial reports
- Assisting with Statutory accounting
- Month end and cyclical reporting
- Preparing monthly statements
- Analysing and investigating variances
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have a strong and proven background as an External Auditor or Junior Accountant. The client is looking for an Accountant with strong technical accounting and statutory reporting skills. Experience working within a top tier accountancy firm and/or exposure to ERP based systems will be highly regarded. You will have great interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills. Intermediate Excel skills are a must.
