About the Company:
My client a globally recognised company based in Sydney CBD are looking for a Credit Manager to join their team. This role would suit someone who has around 3-5+ years’ experience running a team of Credit Controllers/Collections Officers
About the Role:
- Effective management of Credit and Accounts Receivable functions across Australia and New Zealand;
- Developing effective relationships throughout the business and with customers;
- Leading and developing a team of Credit Officers;
- Assessment of customer risk, credit analysis and overseeing reconciliations;
- Managing your own ledger of Accounts across a range of customer profiles and sizes;
- Preparation of reports for management on debtor status;
- Implementing policies and procedures that are consistent with Credit Policy;
- Proactively suggesting and supporting improvements and efficiency in the business in alignment with strategic objectives.
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years commercial experience as a Credit Manager;
- Strong leadership qualities, including change management;
- Experience as a Credit Controller with understanding of full Accounts Receivable function;
- Communication skills with the ability to tactfully influence outcomes;
- Pro-active in continuous improvement;
- Analytical with attention to detail;
- Strategic thinking with ability to align priorities with overall business strategy;
- Relationship Management approach that is flexible & pragmatic;
- Resilience in managing difficult situations;
- Established time management skills;
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills - Excel, Word, outlook
- Experience of large ERP system
