The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Preparation of the monthly financial reporting including balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasting, work in progress reporting and conducting analysis on actual versus budgeted results
- Preparation and lodgement of quarterly BAS, GST, PAYG & annual reconciliations to the ATO/payroll authorities
- Assist the financial team where necessary
The Successful Candidate
CPA or CA qualified, you have worked within a medium to large corporate where you have gained "hands on" experience but at the same time, have the commercial ability to make sound financial decisions.
As this is a dynamic industry you need to be able to think laterally to maximise performance management reporting that illuminates the key drivers of product profitability and value creation.
Highly trustworthy, your attention to detail and excellent technical skills coupled with strong Excel is mandatory. SAP experience ideal.
