Due to continued global growth, a newly created opportunity now exists for an aspiring Accounts Receivable Officer to join our growing finance division. Located in our Bondi Junction HQ and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will build and maintain strong working relationships with internal/external stakeholders and clients to achieve successful outcomes within the AR area of the Finance Team.


About the role:

  • Ensure timely payments and maintain customer data integrity by identifying and addressing all action needed concerning overdue accounts;
  • Posting daily banking and general ledger accounts;
  • Foster strong working relationships with our clients, whilst following up in a timely manner on any queries relating to delayed payments or problems associated with the accounts or invoices;
  • Produce and maintain weekly AR reports, debtors ageing report, highlight the collection issues to the appropriate account manager and or legal contact, and any adhoc AR reporting requirements.
  • Identify ways of adding value to processes and procedures and participate in business improvement initiatives; and
  • Support the broader Finance Team with various business activities, build your skills by learning new areas of the function.
  

The ideal Candidate:

  • A qualification in a bookkeeping or a similar area of business or finance/administration;
  • 2-3 years’ experience;
  • Experience using and working with MYOB;
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate – can also identify errors;
  • Service oriented personality, with the ability to handle high volume of invoices, credits, and multi currencies;
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of deliverables;
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel and Word;
  • Experience working in the ad-tech, Online or Digital Media or Mobile Advertising will be advantageous.
