This well-known Educational institute based in north of the city seeks a part qualified/qualified Corporate Accountant to join their team for 3-6 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take full responsibility for assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

This well-known Educational institute based in north of the city seeks a part qualified/qualified Corporate Accountant to join their team for 3-6 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take full responsibility for assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Description

- Analysis of financial forecasts & budgets
- Business planning and analysis
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Variance analysis and commentary
- Monthly financial reporting
- Assist with year end audits
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to gain an understanding of business functions (including the research departments and lecturers)
- Provide financial solutions to business functions and get buy in from stakeholders
- Assist the Head of Finance
- Data analysis to drive business performance

Profile

-An extremely progressive individual
-Part/Fully Qualified Accountant
-Experience in a similar role previously and comfortable with Financial reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting
-Highly energetic
-A strong drive to do well
-Able to inspire a great team mentality
-Used to working in a larger organisation with multiple stakeholders
-Experience across the education space will be looked upon favourably
-Experience in using SAP
-Immediately available or have a short notice period
