A large global company requires a Systems Accountant to join their Sydney CBD based team in a permanent capacity.
The Systems Accountant role is the conduit between Finance and the IT team with regards to process enhancements, systems maintenance, application support and project management. You will enjoy working in an autonomous role and be able to manage multiple deadlines within tight timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance and enhancements of all external system integrations into Finance application
• Design and implementation of new system integrations due to acquisitions
• Day-to-day Application Support for Financial Users
• New User setup and user security management of Financial system
• Manage enhancements & upgrades to Financial Applications
• Develop and implement best practice processes for all members of the Finance team
• Maintain integrity of data within GL/AR/AP
Key Requirements:
• CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years’ experience within a fast-paced Finance team
• MS Dynamics/Great plains experience is essential
• Advanced Excel essential
• Advanced MS Access
• Experienced in process re-engineering within a Financial environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
