This is an exceptional opportunity to join this large complex QLD COmmunity based Services organisation in Roma! The Executive Director Finance Infrastructure and Corporate Services is a key member of the Executive Leadership team and will be charged with providing strategic leadership and direction of the financial management, performance and information delivery functions that support good governance and maximise value for the Health Service in achieving service outcomes. You will partner with a collegial and supportive Executive Leadership Team, and take full accountability for the financial and infrastructure stewardship, and business acumen, of the Service.
In addition, you will lead the development of controls, frameworks and management tools that reflect good practice, address risks, and ensure exemplary levels of financial stewardship, compliance, and information integrity for the decision making process. You will lead the measurement, monitoring and management of organisational performance that clearly identifies accountability, aligns with strategic direction, highlights exceptions, and fosters service improvement.
A professionally qualified CA / CPA, you will report to the Chief Executive and be responsible for the provision of expert strategic direction and advice to the Board, Chief Executive and Executive team on current and emerging financial management, performance and information delivery, contribution to the development and implementation of integrated strategic, organisational service and operational plans and lead, develop, manage and monitor effective governance frameworks that ensure high levels of accountability and compliance, and contribute to contemporary and innovative service improvement.
In addition, you will develop and oversee the budgets ensuring allocation equity, integrity, sustainability and alignment with strategic direction, service and operational plans, provide leadership and support critical to the management of organisational change initiatives, and the evaluation of their effectiveness. A hands-on approach to the leadership and day-to-day management of the key functions as well as the ability to partner with the Executive Team are the key requirements of this challenging but extremely rewarding role.
The ideal applicant will ideally have Large Commercial (Services based sector), Health or Public Sector experience with a strong knowledge base and experience in a similar role, you will be an accomplished individual with extremely strong communication skills and have the ability and desire to hit the ground running!
