Mars Recruitment are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Senior Accountants on behalf of a boutique firm based in the southern suburbs.
Firm:
This 4 Partner practice services high-end clients ranging up to $50m turnover. They have a well established team and have a flexible working environment. This is a hands on role so you'll be getting contact with clients using electronic working papers and a secure portal for communicaiton with them. As this firm has seen some decent growth over the last few years and foresees continued growth. This will be a prominent position within the firm which can progress.
Role :
You will be involved with handling the more complex compliance work such as preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and companies; Conducting tax planning, managing & reviewing FBT & BAS; Preparing annual budgets and cash flow forecasts; Researching various matters as requested or necessary; Dealing with clients directly, ATO and other organisations as relevant and needed; Providing some tax advise to a SME client base.
Requirements:
- CA/CPA qualified or near completion
- Ideally 10+ years experience within tax and business services
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experince with SMSF beneficial
- Experience with Class Super benefical
- Hold working rights for Australia
