Mars Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Services Manaager on behalf of a boutique firm based in the western suburbs.
Firm:
This is a fast growing practice that has tripled in size in the last 7 years. They service high-end clients ranging up to $60m turnover. They have a young enthusiastic team and have a flexible working environment. This is a hands on role so you'll be getting contact with clients using electronic working papers and a secure portal for communicaiton with them. As this firm has seen some decent growth over the last few years and foresees continued growth, this position has become vacant. This will be a prominent position within the firm.
Role :
You will be required to manage a portfolio of clients and will be involved in the more complex compliance work. Reviewing and preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and companies; Conducting tax planning, managing & reviewing FBT & BAS; Reviewing and preparing annual budgets and cash flow forecasts; Researching various matters as requested or necessary; Managing a portfolio of your own clients, liasing with the ATO and other organisations as relevant and needed; Providing some tax advise to a SME client base.
Requirements:
- CA/CPA qualified or near completion
- 7+ years experience within tax and business services
- Experience managing a team
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience with Xero / XPM ideal but not essential
- Hold working rights for Australia
