About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Payroll Officers to join our newly developed Payroll team for our Australia divisions, based in the one of Brisbane's northern suburbs, Banyo.
Whilst you will be running payroll using Chris21 and following current guidelines and processes, you will have a true opportunity to really make this role and your team your own, providing support and ideas to really shape this newly developed Australia Payroll team.
Reporting to the newly appointed Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of monthly payrolls and associated reporting.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A solid working knowledge of CHRIS 21 – this is an essential requirement
- Previous experience in a payroll officer position ideally with a manufacturing/building background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated priorities management and problem solving capability
- Proven ability to manage workload in order to meet timescales
- SAP / General Ledger knowledge
- Proficient user of MS Office (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Understand or be able to interpret a variety of awards/EBA agreements
