Your new company
Your new company is a state government organisation based in Sydney CBD. Due to a resignation, a position has become available for a temporary to permanent employee to join their team. You will be part of a small and passionate team and will play an integral role in the success of this organisation.
Your new role
Your new role as Senior Financial Accountant will include but is not limited to:
- Month-end close
- Year-end close
- Audit preparation
- Liaise with Audit Office of NSW
- Liaise with NSW Treasury
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Business partnering with senior internal stakeholders
- Review annual FBT and monthly GST returns
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to be CA/CPA qualified, have previous experience in a state government organisation, be proficient in SAP and have strong Microsoft Excel skills.
