The Opportunity
 
Our Canberra office is seeking an experienced, driven and client-focused Business Advisory Manager to join their team. This is an important role that will not only provide tax, accounting, and business advisory services but an opportunity to grow the Canberra practice and focus on business consulting.
 
Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Advising clients on practical and commercial issues based on their positioning in the business environment, to add value to the clients' business
• Considering the long-term perspective on clients' industry and identifying possible opportunities and risks
• Managing the team work flow and communicating with partner on a frequent basis;
• Reviewing work of junior team members
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards
• Analysing management accounting reports and providing advice to clients
• Reviewing income tax returns for individuals, companies, super funds, partnerships and trusts
• Delivering complex tax planning to clients

                                                             
The Successful Applicant
 
To be considered for this position you must have:

• Completed CA or equivalent
• Business Development exposure
• 5+ years' experience in Professional Services 
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Committed to continuing professional development
