The Company
Our client is a global Australian business currently restructuring its AR functions. The firm’s portfolio includes many of the country’s most popular and successful publishing platforms. It has modern and open offices with a work culture that is energetic, friendly and supportive. They are currently expanding their Australian team. You will be reporting into a capable Finance Manager and will be an integral member of the finance team.
The Role
This is a full function Accounts Receivable role where you will work within a fluid and rapidly changing environment. It is a high volume Accounts Receivable role where you will perform the following duties:
- Reconcile debtors accounts and maintain customer data
- Process payment receipts, allocate payments and reconcile bank accounts as required
- Prepare ad hoc analysis to determine AR performance
- Develop and maintain relations with a large client base
- Perform collection calls (not high volume)
You will report to a Finance Manager and have the opportunity to add value and make a difference to the Accounts Receivable and Credit function.
Your Background
To be considered for this role you will have at least 2 years previous experience working in a similar Accounts Receivable and Credit role. Your role is critical to the success of the credit control function, so you must have good attention to detail and excellent communication skills to build and manage customer relations.
