The Payroll Officer is going on leave for a couple weeks in August, so we need a person to be processing the AU and NZ payrolls. You will need to be really strong in your knowledge and have an understanding of month end processes, year-end processes, reporting, calculating super/LSL/terminations, experience with payroll tax, group tax and superannuation for AU and NZ, payroll journals, tax journals, superannuation clearing house, and it would be good if you've worked with Casual staff being paid from timesheets as well.
Experience with MicroPay Meridian would be helpful.
Our client needs someone savvy that will come on board, learn quickly, be proactive, have great attention to detail, and manage the Payroll function. We need the candidate to have great knowledge especially around end of year, end of month, tax and superannuation processes.
It would be great to have a start this week,
- Payroll + EOFY!
- Approx. 450 AU Casual staff on wages and submit timesheets
- Approx. 70 AU Perm salaried staff
- Approx. 115 NZ Casual staff on wages and submit timesheets
- 3 NZ perm salaried staff
The Payroll Officer is great at processing normal pays (AU one week, NZ the next week), so we need a strong Payroll Manager who has experience in all the other processes and reporting.
