This boutique firm situated in Hurstville are seeking a Business Services Supervisor to join their vibrant team. Specialising in – tax, business services, audit & super you will work across a variety of clients including manufacturing, medical & retail up to $100m turnover. The company structure means you will gain exposure to all services provided, really completing your skill set. They have a strong belief on providing an excellent service to clients and as such they have long standing and a very close client base combined with constant client contact from the team. There is also an emphasis on a great work life balance (with a lot of staff working the traditional 9-5) and flexible start/finish times.

As a Supervisor in the team you will be responsible for providing compliance and advisory services to the firm’s key portfolio. Additionally, you will play a big part as the connection between managing director and junior staff, assisting the managing director with more complex engagements and mentoring junior staff members

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of financial statements and income tax return across all entities
  • Research and drafting advice on tax issues
  • Tax planning and assisting cash flow forecasts
  • Evaluation of Div7A issues and preparation of loan repayments
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff
  • Managing and maintaining important client relationships

About you:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • 5+ years business services experience in a local firm
  • Experience in dealing with a variety of clients including SMEs & HNWIs and engagements from start to finish
  • Superb communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workflow
  • Experience with mentoring junior staff
