The Firm
This 2nd-tier, Brisbane CBD based chartered accounting firm provides services in Corporate Finance, SMSF & Business Services, Insolvency and Audit. Their advisors work with SMEs, family businesses, listed entities, professionals, individuals and government. The firm has 145 staff members that enjoys a very strong social culture.
The Role
The firm is looking for someone with an understanding and experience with agribusiness to lead a small team. Within your role as Business Services Manager, you duties will include:
- Managing, delegating and monitoring workflow
- Reviewing higher level work
- Developing and training staff
- Working directly with the partners
- Providing strategic advice, innovative solutions and service excellence to small to medium enterprises
- Providing business advisory and accounting advice to a sustainable and profitable portfolio of clients
- Producing compliance documents, special purpose financial statements and monthly management reports
- Preparation of Income Tax Returns & Financial Statements for all entities types
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
The Individual
A suitable candidate for this position will possess:
- Completed CA or CPA
- 2-4 years’ management experience, reporting directly to partners
- An understanding and experience of agribusiness
- Strong background in Business Development
- Strong tax and accounting technical knowledge
- Outstanding capacity to effectively lead and mentor a driven team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral skills
