Your new company
A national Not-for-Profit organisation based in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Your new role
In this newly created role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Working within the financial services team and across the organisation to bridge between financial accounting, management accounting and financial systems.
- Over viewing and supporting new business assessments, process improvements, project planning and support, and system maintenance.
- Assist in the development and documentation of financial processes.
- Production of financial reports and analysis, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organisation.
- Contributing to a motivated, positive team culture with a focus on best practice and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience working in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in project accounting, ideally gained working in a PMO environment.
- Strong all-round accounting knowledge with the ability to overview and review project financials and provide sound financial advice on project viability and improvements.
- A strong process improvement mindset with the ability overview and map out processes.
- It would be advantageous to have some exposure to systems accounting, or at least a desire to develop your knowledge in this area.
- You must have a methodical mindset, a willingness to contribute to a highly motivated team and be able to positive contribute to an organisation's goals and values.
What you'll get in return
A contract for at least 18 months based in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne. Salary on offer is circa $100k + super (plus salary packaging benefits are also available).
