We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Officer to join our client on a 5 month contract to commence immediately. You will ideally have at least 2-5 years commercial experience, having worked in fast paced environments and a demonstrated ability to process a large volume of invoices and payments on a daily basis. The successful candidates must possess strong communication skills and show the ability to engage with stakeholders both internally and externally.

Responsibilities include:

• Checking, coding and processing invoices and payments
• Responsible for end of month input and journals
• Bank reconciliations
• Weekly & monthly funds and cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Manage pretty cash, credit card reconciliations and travel expenses
• Reconcile GST and PAYG accounts
• Credit control and credit checking
• Organising direct debit payments to avoid late payments and collections
• Debt collection and Outbound calls and held reduce debt and assist with new collections process

Position requirements:

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting/ Finance field
• Experience with high volume of data entry and invoice processing
• Sound time management skills
• Good attention to detail and able to efficiently prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and develop relationships around the business
