Lorica Health analyses more than two thirds of Australia's private health insurance claims and our SaaS products are also used by Australian government agencies responsible for ensuring the integrity of end to end public health programs.

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and analysis of finance and management reports

  • General ledger maintenance

  • Cash flow management and banking administration

  • Accounts receivable and payable

  • Payroll

  • Tax compliance

  • Preparation of annual financial statements and external auditor liaison

  • Assist with development of budgets, forecasts and financial modelling

  • Partner with business stakeholders to support financial needs

Skills and experience

Requirements:

  • CA or CPA qualified

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience

  • Strong technical accounting, tax and payroll compliance knowledge

  • Analytical and commercial mindset

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management

  • Energy and drive with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability

  • Organised, flexible and resilient

  • Xero experience (preferred)

You may have previously worked within a start-up organisation where you are used to being the sole-charge Finance contact, or have gained experience in a larger corporate entity and are looking to take ownership of a broad remit in an emerging growth company.

The successful candidate will be offered remuneration in line with experience and qualifications.
