The Position
Sharp & Carter has been engaged to source a high-calibre and system-strong Accountant.  Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will require you to be a key member of the finance function whilst taking responsibility of the following tasks. 

• Completion of year-end Balance Sheet reconciliations, journals and analysis
• Assist with month-end tasks, including loading budgets as required
• Manage the payroll processing for 75 employees
• all year end payroll close
• Reconcile all payroll liabilities, Tax and WorkCover requirements
• Participate in the documenting of Finance and Operational business processes (SOP’s) and testing of same
• Participate in the Implementation, UAT & Reconciliation of MS Navision
• Participate in the reconciliation of NAV to Blueshift to BI etc.
• Completion of process documentation project
• Support Senior Financial Accountant
• Duties and projects as directed by the CFO

  
Skills & Experience 
To be successful in this role you will be CA/CPA qualified (or currently completing), with excellent technical accounting skills and have experience from a large and complex commercial organisation, or chartered accounting environment with international reporting requirements.  Your interpersonal and communication skills will need to be first class, allowing you to gain the confidence of key internal and external stakeholders, and develop strong professional relationships with those both above and below you.  Strong systems or previous systems implementation experience is highly desirable.
